As a Security Supervisor with Securitas Security Services, you will be responsible for leading a team of security staff to ensure high standards of safety and customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in security management, preferably in maritime security, and possess excellent leadership skills, an SIA licence, and the ability to perform under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of security staff to ensure compliance with safety and customer service standards.
- Oversee legislative searches and patrols for passengers, vehicles, and port areas to exceed compliance standards.
- Maintain effective communication with customer staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle rostering and ensure all shifts meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver top-notch customer service to passengers at the port, ensuring a secure and positive experience.
- Good written and spoken English language.
- Correctly recording, reporting, and documenting high-quality reports (verbal and/or written).
- Achieving and encouraging high standards of customer care and providing an effective shift presence.
- Any other duties as determined by the Management Team.
- Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
- Active SIA Licence. SG licence - DS or CP
- Minimum 4 years preferred but not required. Maritime Security experience preferred
- Within 20 miles of the site
- Experience in managing, leading, and motivating others
- Excellent organisational, customer service, and communication skills.
