Land Referencing and GIS Specialist

Fisher German is seeking a skilled Land Referencing and GIS Specialist to join our Infrastructure Services division in Stafford.

The successful candidate will be responsible for updating geospatial layers for major projects, managing geospatial layers within webmapping and mobile applications, and applying land referencing methodologies and processes to support project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in geography, GIS, or a related discipline, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in land referencing/GIS on major projects. Strong communication skills and experience using Esri Packages are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Update geospatial layers for major projects
  • Manage geospatial layers within webmapping and mobile applications
  • Apply land referencing methodologies and processes to support project delivery
  • Support with mailmerges and data management
  • Creation of notices and associated plans for noticing land
  • Data interpretation and analysis, with reporting
  • Consolidating title due diligence results
  • Support with preparation of the book of reference
Requirements:
  • Degree in geography, GIS, or related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years experience in land referencing/GIS on major projects
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience using Esri Packages
  • Driving license
