Job Title: Structural Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team at Entech Technical Solutions Limited. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for assessing, reviewing, and compiling correct instructions for ICA, maintenance manuals, and mechanical drawings.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a proven background in design work within structural aircraft, aerospace, defence, or similar manufacturing/aircraft/aviation industries. You will be working with a well-known, well-respected, and innovative company, with current exciting growth and potential for more growth in the immediate future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, review, and correct instructions for ICA, maintenance manuals, and mechanical drawings
  • Manage all design phases of technical projects and manage scheduling, estimating, and completion of design data
  • Compilation of design and certification data
  • Evidence of attention to detail skills
  • Self-motivated and independent working
  • Communication with confidence at all levels
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience working within an aircraft structural, aviation modification, or aerospace/defence mechanical engineering environment. Other experience/skills in the following would also be an advantage:

  • Working within a similar sized Jet Aircraft Structures environment
  • Compilation of design and certification data
  • Evidence of attention to detail skills
  • Self-motivated and independent working
  • Communication with confidence at all levels
What We Offer

We offer a competitive rate of £60-£65 per hour (FCSA Umbrella, this role is deemed inside IR35). The role is initially expected to last 6-8 weeks, however, this is likely to extend beyond this (it has the potential to become long-term). We currently have a definite timeline in place with this company and will be able to offer relevant feedback and have pre-agreed interview slots for next week and the week after.
