Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Children and Young People Team. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and young people, working in partnership with families and other agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and plan interventions for children and young people, working with families and other agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with children, young people, and their families, ensuring that their needs and views are taken into account.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of social work policies and procedures, ensuring that they are effective and meet the needs of children and young people.
- Provide supervision and support to junior social workers, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge to provide high-quality social work services.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities, ensuring that social work services are of the highest quality.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of projects and initiatives to improve social work services and outcomes for children and young people.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Experience of working with children and young people, including assessment, planning, and intervention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
- Knowledge of social work policies and procedures, including child protection and safeguarding.
