About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team at Manor House School in Slinfold. As part of our continued growth, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students with special educational needs.
  • You will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement individualized education plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and support staff, to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to special educational needs.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of up to £42,000 per annum.
  • A 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30.
  • A permanent, term-time only contract.
  • A £1,000 Welcome Bonus, paid in two installments: £500 upon starting employment and £500 after successful completion of the final probation period (6 months).

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
