The organization specializes in the design and production of a diverse array of engineering components utilized in vehicles, industrial machinery, and everyday products.
Key Responsibilities
- As a Sales Engineer, you will cultivate and sustain robust relationships with both existing and potential clients.
- Engage in selling high-value contracts to OEMs and manufacturers across sectors such as automotive, materials handling, machine building, and industrial engineering.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, conducting approximately three customer visits daily.
- Collaborate closely with your sales manager to devise effective sales strategies for your designated area.
- Engage in solutions selling for customized products, alongside a comprehensive range of standard offerings.
- Receive thorough product training and ongoing support, as expected from a global manufacturer.
Qualifications
- Essential Qualification: HNC/HND or a degree in a mechanical engineering discipline.
- Sales Experience: Field sales experience is preferred; however, highly motivated individuals seeking to transition into technical field sales are encouraged to apply.
- This role requires a proactive approach to field sales, with an emphasis on generating new business.
- Beneficial knowledge in one or more of the following areas: hydraulics, pneumatics, springs, linear motion, bearings, couplings, or engineered metal or rubber components.
- A valid UK driving license is required.
Compensation Package
- Competitive salary up to £40,000, with an OTE including commission ranging from £50,000 to £55,000.
- 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
