Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Export Logistics Coordinator to join our team at WR Logistics. As an Export Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the export process from start to finish, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate the export process, including selecting the most appropriate route for shipments, taking into account the nature of the goods, cost, transit time, and security.
  • Process all export requests from clients or line managers, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all necessary documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients throughout the export process, providing regular updates on the status of shipments.
  • Monitor shipments from door-to-door, ensuring successful delivery within the required timeline.
  • Produce quotes for clients, providing the best solution and options for their export needs.
  • Support colleagues in the team to ensure timely close-out of all jobs.
  • Process customs declarations through ASM Sequoia software, adhering to HMRC compliance and regulations.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of HM Revenue & Customs regulations and destination-specific documentation requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in international imports and freight forwarding.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Fully conversant with all HMRC regimes and entry types.
  • Comprehensive understanding of ASM Sequoia and CHIEF software.
