Job Summary:

The B2 Licensed Engineer is a key member of our team at Mane Contract Services, responsible for ensuring the continued safe operation of our aircraft. As a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for the certification of line, non-routine maintenance, and repair on H135/H145 rotorcraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
  • Perform maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by the nominated LAE Supervisor, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Lead a team to ensure the continued safe operation of the aircraft, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Complete maintenance tasks, including avionic and electrical systems, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Replace avionic line-replaceable units, requiring simple tests to confirm serviceability, and ensure all work is properly documented.
  • Supervise avionic and electrical fitters and certify their work, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Conduct off-aircraft avionic and electrical technical work in the Avionics workshop as required, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the aircraft hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping duties, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Desired Knowledge and Skills:

Essential:

  • Thorough knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with specialized test equipment related to avionic and electrical systems, ensuring accurate and efficient testing.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of:
  • CAA regulations, particularly Part 145 and Part M Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM), ensuring compliance and adherence.
  • Flight and Airport Operations, including safety protocols and procedures.
  • Aircraft Line Maintenance, including routine and non-routine maintenance tasks.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and UK MFTS, including relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Experience with SAP and ERP software, ensuring efficient management and coordination of maintenance tasks.
