We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst and Insights Specialist to join our HR Management Information (HRMI) team at the University of Bath. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and providing insights from data to support operational and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and provide insights from data to various stakeholders, using people data from our HR system (iTrent), Workload Allocation Management System (WAMS), reporting tools (business objects), and other sources.
- Deliver statutory reports, management information, and present data analyses to support business decisions.
- Manage specific projects and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
- Provide training and support to system users and assist with system updates of iTrent and WAMS.
- Experience in using Excel to manipulate data.
- Excellent IT skills, including strong Excel proficiency.
- Experience in manipulating and presenting large datasets.
- Excellent customer service, communication skills, and attention to detail.
This is a part-time position, working 21.9 hours per week, with flexibility to work across a 3, 4, or 5-day work pattern.
