Job Title: Apprentice Maintenance Engineer

Talent Engineering is a leading recruitment agency specializing in engineering professionals. We are currently seeking a skilled Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a global pharmaceutical company based in Alfreton.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time on-site role with a 70/30 Mechanical over Electrical bias. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance, conducting maintenance and repair tasks, and implementing preventive maintenance measures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Conduct maintenance and repair tasks as required
  • Implement preventive maintenance measures to minimize downtime
  • Manage electrical maintenance tasks and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Requirements:
  • Apprentice trained or Level 3 qualified in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Experience working in a manufacturing setting with a strong understanding of equipment maintenance
  • PLC experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Mechanical or Electrical bias will be considered
Benefits:
  • Salary: £47,800 (inclusive of basic salary, call out & shift pay)
  • Monday - Friday 4 shift rotation pattern with on call every fourth week
  • Overtime at an enhanced rate
  • Annual company bonus
  • 22 days holiday + Bank holidays, with additional days after continued service
  • Pension Employer contributions 5%
