IDEX Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Technical Actuarial Pensions Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our GB Retirement practice, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our exciting growth strategy.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced actuary with a strong background in core UK defined benefit pensions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working on trustee and corporate assignments, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage large teams and projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Coach and mentor junior associates to help them grow in their careers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • Experience in core UK defined benefit actuarial work
  • Progression towards Fellowship of the IFoA, with a strong understanding of actuarial principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
