Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum

Reporting to: Area Registered Manager

Location: Liverpool

Welcome Bonus of £1000 (Direct applicants only). £500 after successful induction, £500 after 3 months of service

As a Team Leader at Aspirations Care, you will be instrumental in supporting adults with learning disabilities to achieve their best possible quality of life. The ideal candidate will serve as a role model, providing exceptional support to individuals and assisting the Registered Area Manager in coaching, guiding, and managing staff teams effectively.

Job sharing options are available for this role.

You will have the opportunity to work at least one day a week directly with the remarkable individuals we support, alongside other team members during off-shift periods.

We offer 24/7 support to some individuals, so flexibility to work shifts on a rota basis, including nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays, is essential.

You will report directly to the Area Registered Manager for the designated location and collaborate closely with a team of senior support workers/team leaders to ensure the efficient operation of the service.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
You will also hold delegated responsibility for the direct supervision and line management of a team of Support Workers.
Together with the Registered Area Manager, you will be accountable for monitoring, maintaining, and delivering the highest standards of clinical and personal support and service delivery, while promoting independence and choice for the individuals supported. As a senior team member, you will consistently advocate and exemplify best practices, ensuring that the individuals we support and their colleagues experience a safe and satisfactory level of care.

As a Team Leader, you will:

• Have experience in supporting adults with complex learning disabilities

• Have knowledge of Autism and Positive Behaviour Plans

• Possess strong IT skills and experience in maintaining accurate records to excel in this role

• Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Care (or an acceptable equivalent), or be willing to achieve this within 18 months of appointment
