Fusion People Ltd is seeking a skilled Parts Cleaner to join our client's team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all parts are cleaned, inspected, and sorted for refurbishment, re-use, or disposal.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. General cleaning and preparation of engine, transmission, and raft parts using manual tools, dual-acting sanders, and scrapers.
  2. Loading and unloading parts into cleaning machines.
  3. Following relevant working instructions and process plans.
  4. Inspecting parts for signs of damage or wear.
  5. Disassembling parts for re-use or deep cleaning.
  6. Recording acceptance or rejection of parts on inspection reports.
  7. Identifying structural and material defects.
  8. Interpreting and presenting findings of faults.
  9. Understanding the production schedule and working closely with production and engineering to build a schedule that minimizes interruption to manufacturing output.
  10. Maintaining NDT equipment as required.
  11. Mentoring trainees or apprentices when applicable.
