About the Role

Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

Location: Remote - Occasional Commute to Cardiff

In this role, you will be responsible for managing, deploying, maintaining, and monitoring the infrastructure of the company's customer applications. This will involve providing support, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance application performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage, deploy, maintain, and monitor the company's customer applications infrastructure
  2. Provide support for customer applications
  3. Identify and implement ways to improve procedures and application performance
  4. Work on Windows Server, AWS, and Azure platforms
  5. Handle IT Security tasks
  6. Work on PC and Mac Operating Systems
  7. Conduct software diagnosis and troubleshoot issues
  8. Perform software installations and updates

Requirements:

  1. Experience with Windows Server, AWS, and Azure platforms
  2. Proficiency in IT Security practices
  3. Familiarity with both PC and Mac Operating Systems
  4. Skilled in software diagnosis and troubleshooting
  5. Capable of software installations and updates
  6. Proactive mindset, continuously seeking improvements
  7. Ability to suggest and implement improvements to key business stakeholders
  8. Familiarity with APM tools, such as App Dynamics, is beneficial but not essential
