Key Responsibilities
  • Engage students in accessing and achieving their learning goals, promoting academic success and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and deliver sessions, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Facilitate student integration into mainstream learning and enrichment activities, fostering social skills and confidence.
  • Accompany students on residential, day trips, or work experience as required, providing a safe and supportive presence.
  • Be available to support other students in the classroom as needed, adapting to individual needs and circumstances.
  • Work in the College setting to ensure that all policies and procedures are followed, maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.
Requirements
  • Experience of supporting students with learning difficulties and disabilities in a range of settings, demonstrating a commitment to inclusivity and diversity.
  • Awareness of a range of learning difficulties, including Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, MLD, and SLD, and the ability to adapt support strategies accordingly.
  • Knowledge of Land-Based industries, with a passion for promoting education and skills development.
