About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Lead Data Engineer to join our Engineering team within the Digital & Product Department at Fintop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of data engineers in designing and creating scalable and repeatable data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Pipeline Design and Development: Discuss requirements, design solutions, and produce code that automates the ingestion, cleansing, and transformations of data required to achieve the target data format.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with the Products, Engineering, Data & Business Analytics teams to understand source and target data requirements and develop data integration solutions to achieve necessary migrations.
- Data Engineering Architecture: Manage and update the Data Engineering Architecture to ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects.
- ETL and Data Integration Solutions: Understand, build, and develop ETL and data integration solutions using a wide array of technologies and data sources.
- Data Quality and Reliability: Analyze and organize raw data from different sources, explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability, and identify, design, and implement internal process improvements.
- Cloud-Based Infrastructure: Work with cloud-based infrastructure (Azure) for hosting data solutions and applications.
- Collaboration with Architects and Data Scientists: Collaborate with architects, data analysts, and data scientists to help meet business goals.
- Data Modeling and Relational Databases: Good experience in Data Modeling within a cloud-based data platform, strong experience with SQL Server and relational databases.
- Azure Data Engineering Stack: Good knowledge of the Azure data engineering stack, including Azure Synapse and Azure Data Lake.
- Programming Experience: Programming experience in Python, PySpark, and T-SQL, familiarity with the wider Azure Data Solutions such as Azure ML Studio.
- Azure DevOps and CI/CD: Previous experience with Azure DevOps and understanding of CI/CD.
