Experienced Garment Cutter for Fashion Brand

Job Summary:
Create Recruitment Specialists Ltd is seeking an experienced Sample Cutter to join our client's growing team in London. As a Sample Cutter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality garments are produced efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with machinists, pattern cutters, and workroom managers to achieve production goals.
- Ensure cutting standards are met, with a focus on accuracy and productivity.
- Work with a variety of fabrics, including delicate and heavier materials, to create high-quality garments.
- Assist with print matching and cutting tasks as needed.
- Measure and lay out fabric accurately to minimize waste and optimize production.
- Cut out both sample and bespoke garments to meet client requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sample Cutter in the fashion industry.
- Excellent cutting skills, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Ability to work with a range of fabrics, including prints and heavier materials.
- Strong communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work during peak periods, with potential for ongoing or ad-hoc freelance work.
