This position is full-time and designed for the long term.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide tailored assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a one-on-one environment.
2. Implement strategies specified in the student's Individual Education Plan (IEP) to achieve their unique learning objectives.
3. Support the student in comprehending and completing classroom tasks and activities.
4. Modify and adapt educational materials and resources to align with the student's learning preferences and capabilities.
5. Cultivate a nurturing and inclusive educational atmosphere where the student feels secure and motivated to engage.

Qualifications

1. Relevant educational background and qualifications, such as a high school diploma or equivalent.

2. Specialized training or certification in assisting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), or a readiness to pursue such training.

3. Patience and resilience to manage challenging behaviors and situations in a composed and professional manner.
4. Ability to adhere to instructions and execute strategies outlined in Individual Education Plans (IEPs) or other support frameworks.
5. An Enhanced DBS check.
