Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our esteemed ultrasound service team. This role offers an opportunity to work within a supportive environment, contributing to high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Ultrasound Clinical Lead in managing and mentoring junior staff members.
- Deliver exceptional service in accordance with established standards and patient needs.
- Conduct ultrasound examinations efficiently while adhering to required protocols.
Our ultrasound service encompasses a comprehensive range of examinations, excluding Obstetrics. Candidates should be proficient in performing and interpreting the following ultrasound studies:
- Abdominal
- Scrotal
- Renal
- Gynecological (Transvaginal, Transabdominal)
- Musculoskeletal (MSK)
- Vascular
Qualifications Required
- Current HCPC Registration.
- Experience in ultrasound practice within the UK.
- Ability to perform and report scans independently while collaborating with a Clinical Support Worker.
- Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound with a minimum of 900 reported ultrasound scans in the past year.
