About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to work as a Pharmacy Manager, joining a highly reputable private hospital based in Reading.

The hospital has state-of-the-art facilities and this is an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacy Manager to join their friendly and experienced Pharmacy team.

The role is perfect for an experienced Pharmacy Manager looking for the challenge of delivering comprehensive pharmacy service within hospital settings.

The hospital covers a wide range of specialties and procedures including orthopaedics, gynaecology, cardio, and many more.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide exemplary pharmacy service in accordance with current legislation and clinical requirements.
  • Provide advice to consultants, other clinicians, and patients.
  • Ensure the safe, appropriate, and cost-effective use of medicines.
  • Responsible for leading, motivating, and managing the pharmacy team.
  • Advise on the safe management of medicines to the hospital and its departments.
  • Lead on quality improvement projects and audit within pharmacy.
Requirements
  • Be GPHC registered - your PIN must not have any restrictions or conditions.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
  • At least 4 years' experience working as a Pharmacist in a clinical setting in the UK.
  • Managerial experience in a Pharmacy setting in the UK is essential.
  • Awareness and knowledge of Oncology Pharmacy.
  • Excellent communication skills.
