Personal Tax Senior Accountant Job Opportunity

We are excited to be working with a well-established and growing firm of accountants in Slough, seeking a talented and experienced Personal Tax Senior Accountant to join their close-knit team.

The successful candidate will contribute to the firm's tax services, focusing on personal clients, including HNWIs, landlords, directors, partners, and non-residents. They will also lead a team of talented accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional client relationships and high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provision of personal tax services, including tax computations and ad-hoc assignments.
  • Review and preparation of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with VAT returns and troubleshoot complex queries.
  • Manage workflow, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Supervise junior team members, providing coaching and mentoring.
  • Liaise with HMRC and clients, attending meetings and resolving queries.
  • Support with general accountancy services and business advice.
  • Work closely with senior team members to promote customer service excellence.
Requirements:
  • AAT/ACCA/ACA, ATT or CTA qualification.
  • Significant personal tax experience, with a strong understanding of tax compliance and advisory services.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail, with a can-do attitude to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage deadlines and workflow effectively.
