We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our highly specialist team in one of only fifteen Sarcoma units in the country. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work closely with the Band 7 Specialist Sarcoma Physiotherapist and be part of a community of highly ambitious therapists looking to develop sarcoma rehabilitation nationally.
Key Responsibilities- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality physiotherapy care to patients with sarcoma
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and optimal patient outcomes
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new physiotherapy programs and services
- BSc Honours or equivalent in Physiotherapy
- Experience of working in a specialist sarcoma unit or similar setting
- Ability to communicate complex information both verbally and in writing
- Strong analytical and judgement skills, with the ability to assess, formulate a diagnosis and plan patient management using clinical reasoning skills and a range of treatment options
