We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Fellow to join our Anaesthetics team at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality anaesthetic care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Providing anaesthetic cover in main theatres and supporting the on-call anaesthetic team as needed.
  2. Working in a 1 in 8 EWTD compliant rota to ensure seamless patient care.
  3. Contributing to the development and implementation of anaesthetic services and protocols.
  4. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Full registration with the GMC.
  • At least 6 months of working experience in anaesthesia in the UK.
  • Minimum 3 years of postgraduate training, with at least 18 months of anaesthetic training in a recognised programme, and primary FRCA examination.
  • FRCA or equivalent.
  • Experience in obstetric anaesthesia at SpR level.
  • At least 3 months of ITU training and experience in specialities other than anaesthesia.
