Senior Audit and Accounts Professional

We are seeking an experienced Senior Audit and Accounts Professional to join our team in North Yorkshire. Our client is a multi-practice accountancy firm working with a diverse range of clients, from large corporations to small family businesses.

The Role

As a Senior Audit and Accounts Professional, you will be responsible for managing and driving forward the audit and accounting process, including liaising with clients' finance teams. You will also be involved in every aspect of the audit process, taking ownership of planning, fieldwork, and completion of audit engagements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project manage and drive forward the audit and accounting process
  • Get actively involved in every aspect of the audit process
  • Manage a small portfolio of jobs and develop your career progression
Requirements
  • Similar experience working in an audit and accounts practice
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Ability to identify, research and help to resolve complex audit issues
  • Similar experience of managing, training, and mentoring staff on projects, and assessing performance
  • Similar experience of accounting and auditing standards
