Job Title: Electrical and Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Engineer to join our facilities management team at Arcus FM Limited.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering planned and preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair work on a range of mechanical and electrical systems. This will involve working autonomously, travelling to dedicated sites and carrying out a variety of tasks including emergency light testing, fire alarms, lamp changes, basic plumbing, and fabric work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver planned and preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair work on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Work autonomously, travelling to dedicated sites and carrying out a range of tasks
  • Conduct emergency light testing, fire alarms, lamp changes, basic plumbing, and fabric work
  • Confidently carry out a range of other mechanical tasks
Requirements
  • 18th edition qualification
  • Full valid UK driver's license
  • On the job experience working in an M&E Engineer role or similar
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic
  • Awareness and knowledge of health & safety
Desirable Qualifications
  • F-Gas qualification
  • IOSH working safely qualification
  • Plumbing experience
  • Basic fabric skills
  • 2391 testing inspection

Working Hours
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • 5 days on, 2 days off - Rotating shift pattern
  • 1 in 4 weeks on call
