Kingdom Services Group Ltd is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented College Cleaner to join our team at a college in Burton, DE14 area. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

The role involves daily cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other facilities to ensure that the school remains a welcoming and hygienic space.

The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and the desire to do a good job. They will also have excellent customer service and people skills, good time keeping skills, and experience of working in a customer facing environment.

The successful candidate will be required to work individually and as part of a team, and will have the opportunity to develop their skills and progress within the company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning of all areas within the contract
  • Achieving high standards, ensuring the service is operated safely and hygienically
  • Cleaning classrooms, staff rooms, offices, hallways, and communal areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
  • Emptying waste bins and disposing of rubbish appropriately
  • Cleaning desks, chairs, and other furniture
  • Washing and disinfecting sinks, toilets, and other restroom facilities
  • Refilling soap dispensers, toilet paper, and paper towels as needed
  • Cleaning windows, doors, and walls as required
  • Responding to emergency cleaning tasks when needed, such as spills or accidents
  • Supporting the wider school team in maintaining the cleanliness of the outdoor areas, such as playgrounds or school grounds, if required

Salary: £11.44 per hour

Hours: On average 10 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. Monday to Friday 06:00am - 08:00am.

Please note, due to the setting of the site an Enhanced DBS with child barring will be carried out on the successful applicant.
