- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the finance team to identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost savings.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards to ensure best practices are followed.
- Accounting Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
