Service Technician

At Igloo, we are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at a leading automotive company in Chipping Warden. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established company with a national presence.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform PDI, repairs, and basic mechanical work to manufacturer standards.
- Rectify issues using the AssetCare system for job management.
- Complete workshop documentation and follow procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace, and accurately request and issue parts.
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain productivity and identify and report defects or failures.
- Keep tools and equipment safe and functional, and interpret technical service information to ensure health & safety compliance.
- Essential: City & Guilds 1, 2, & 3 in Motor Vehicle Studies.
- At least 3 years' workshop experience.
- Desirable: Manufacturer training (including EV/Hybrid), diagnostic skills, and willingness to continue training.
- Team player with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Flexible start and finish times (site open 6am-7pm).
- Uniform provided.
