Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Carbon & Net Zero Manager to join our team and help us achieve our sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure reporting of energy performance in line with governance, legislative requirements, and commitments.
- Provide energy and carbon data in line with corporate reporting requirements, including calculation and reporting of Scope 1, 2 & 3 carbon emissions.
- Work closely with the procurement team to advise on new opportunities to decarbonize within our supply chain, ensuring these requirements and targets are clearly referenced in contract documents.
- Develop and implement decarbonization/net zero strategy and routemaps towards the delivery of the sustainability strategy. Ensure milestones and objectives are achieved and report on progress to senior key stakeholders.
- A degree (or equivalent) in Environment & Sustainability related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience.
- Member of relevant professional body (e.g. IEMA).
- Experience with Life Cycle Analysis Software and producing WLCA Stage 4 and Stage 6 Reports (preferably One Click LCA).
- Ability to undertake project planning, project management, and work to budgets.
