About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Deputy Manager to join our team at The Works. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving sales, improving customer experience, and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take charge of the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and achieving commercial targets.
  • Lead by example, inspiring and motivating your team to deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales, and maintain high store standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer engagement, increase sales, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives, share best practices, and provide support as needed.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, provide feedback, and coach team members to help them reach their full potential.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Retail Deputy Manager or Assistant Store Manager in a similar retail environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a focus on driving sales, improving customer experience, and maintaining high store standards.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
