Job Overview:This is a challenging role that requires exceptional communication, organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively solve complex tax and pay related issues and advise key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform complex analytics, consulting, and process design tasks to support the successful delivery of pay services
- Evaluate existing processes, technologies, and routines to drive process improvements
- Implement controls to mitigate and manage compliance and operational risk
- Manage a variety of routine to complex operational and strategic activities to ensure programs are executed accurately and effectively, while coaching and developing team members
- Partner with HR program functions on an ongoing basis to ensure processes meet design requirements
- Support larger, complex initiatives by identifying solutions that meet business needs and priorities
- Proven knowledge and experience of payroll end to end processes
- Focus on risk management
- Excellent time management skills
- Established Team Lead/Manager with the ability to build effective team relationships and promote an environment of trust and flexibility
- Previous experience of implementing new payroll software desirable e.g. UK Workday
- Proven track record of working in Payroll and an understanding of Payroll Finance
- Highly motivated individual who is ready for a role that allows them to put into practice the skills they have developed in their career to date
- Previous banking/financial services experience desirable but not essential
- Understanding of payroll accounting and finance
