Job Title: Mobile HGV Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our client's Mobile team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare all vehicles for MOT.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance inspections ensuring all vehicles are safe and road tested.
  • Service and maintain all vehicles to the highest standard.
  • Whenever called upon, attend breakdowns.
Requirements:
  • Be educated to City & Guilds standard in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline.
  • Have experience as an HGV Mechanic working within a similar position.
  • Holding an HGV C+E licence Class 1 and a current ADR is preferred but not essential.
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of vehicles, trailers, workshop plant and equipment.
  • Can resolve mechanical / electrical / pneumatic problems.
  • Ability to multitask and achieve key deadlines.
  • Demonstrate rigorous fault-finding skills.
  • Be able to work under pressure.
