About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Operations Specialist to join our team at Air Partner. As an Operations Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and punctual delivery of our flight schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crew rostering for all relevant flights
  • Ensuring compliance with the company's Flight Time Limited (FTL) scheme
  • Maintaining a flight watch on all flights during the shift
  • Liaising with handling agents to keep them updated on the daily schedule and any disruptions
  • Monitoring flight plans and slots for all airports on the network
  • Providing reports for the management team as required
  • Inputting and updating spreadsheets relevant to flight safety
  • Monitoring weather and NOTAM reports for all relevant destinations
Requirements
  • Strong commercial awareness and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work a shift system that can change at short notice due to technical or weather issues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Well-organized and proactive approach to responsibilities, with the ability to work independently and to deadlines
  • At least 2 years of experience in aviation operations, flight dispatch, or baggage handling supervision
Desirable Skills
  • FAA Dispatch Licence or equivalent
  • Crew Rostering experience
  • Extensive knowledge of ASL flight monitoring systems
  • Experience within a commercial airline operations department
  • Working knowledge of CAP371 FTLs
  • Working experience in an OCC role with other airlines
