Electrical Maintenance Planner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Planner to join our team at Booth Welsh Ltd in North Ayrshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement electrical maintenance plans to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Collaborate with craftworkers to produce schedules and programmes of work.
  • Manage and schedule remedial works within agreed timeframes, adhering to site procedures.
  • Prepare and present programme reports to clients and management.
  • Anticipate and mitigate potential problem areas, advising on remedial action.
  • Communicate resource and equipment requirements to meet project timescales.
  • Prepare work packs with detailed information and write permits to work.
  • Liaise with trade supervisors to ensure jobs are ready for execution.
  • Monitor and update programmes, predicting and communicating critical path deviations.
  • Optimise the use of computer software packages to ensure accountability.
  • Incorporate emergent works into existing programmes effectively.
  • Attend weekly schedule performance meetings and track against KPIs.
  • Report progress against programme, presenting disturbance and impact caused by unforeseen delays.
Requirements:
  • 4 years' experience in a similar maintenance role.
  • APMP Practitioner certification.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Experience working with MMS systems, preferably SAP.
  • Electrical background with HNC or time-served qualification.
  • Sufficient maintenance planning experience.
  • Experience in Petrochemical, Power & Process Industry Sectors.
  • Previous experience in electrical-based roles in these sectors.
  • Leadership, motivation, and performance management experience.
  • Ability to drive change and continuous improvement.
  • Fluency in Excel for prompt, accurate, and regular information.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with relevant parties.
