We are a dynamic and growing food manufacturer seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and repairing equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.
  2. Perform regular inspections to proactively address potential issues and prevent downtime, thereby minimizing costs and maximizing productivity.
  3. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections, to facilitate future reference and decision-making.
  5. Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring that it is properly integrated into our existing systems.
  6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
  7. Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in maintenance practices, applying this knowledge to improve our maintenance processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  1. City and Guilds Level 3 minimum in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role, ideally within the food industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
