Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of preparing financial statements and undertaking regular bookkeeping for clients. The role will involve guiding and advising junior staff, delegating work, and suggesting tasks for other team members. The ideal candidate will be passionate about offering a high-quality service and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements from client source records, completing supporting schedules for manager review.
  • Undertake regular bookkeeping for clients, including VAT returns and management accounts as necessary.
  • Be involved in planning work for relevant assignments.
  • Guide and advise junior staff, delegate work, and suggest tasks for other team members.
  • Chase up outstanding queries with clients and progress manage their own assignments.
  • May be required to travel to clients' premises for meetings or other work.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience within a similar role.
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or studying.
  • Passionate about offering a high-quality service.
