Position Overview
The Surveillance Systems Coordinator will be an integral member of a dedicated team operating within the Security Operations Centre, working on a rotational shift schedule. This role encompasses the management and operation of surveillance technologies to detect criminal activities, unauthorized access, and to provide vital intelligence to law enforcement agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the processing and prioritization of incoming requests for CCTV and Body Worn Camera (BWC) footage, ensuring timely retrieval of data from various systems while collaborating with law enforcement and internal teams.
- Ensure the integrity of primary evidence by securely downloading CCTV/BWC footage and producing both Master and Working copies for evidential purposes.
- Implement forensic protocols for all evidence collected, including proper packaging, documentation, and witness statements.
- Respond to alarm triggers, validate their authenticity, and initiate appropriate responses as necessary.
- Report and address any technical issues with systems to the relevant departments or contractors in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain detailed logs of incidents occurring during shifts, prepare regular reports, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics for any malfunctioning equipment, escalating issues to the appropriate internal teams or contractors.

- Background in an office setting, with proficiency in the Office 365 suite. Familiarity with industry systems would be advantageous but not mandatory.
