  • Lead the Operations team to deliver high-quality services to internal and external clients, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Manage and mitigate operational risks, ensuring effective business controls and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients, and customers
  • Drive the design and digital enhancement of the Operations model to support business growth and improve client delivery
  • Ensure continuous improvement is an integral part of the Operations culture, while supporting business growth
  • Build and maintain an engaged, high-performing, and commercial Operations team
  • Oversee and maintain operational performance to ensure it meets regulatory and client expectations and targets
  • Deliver operational and financial results against associated plans and budgets

Requirements:

  • Significant demonstrable experience of managing business operations within financial services at a senior leadership level, including engagement at board level
  • A proven strategic thinker with the ability to develop well-considered, robust business strategies
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing operational and business-wide strategies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge and experience of dealing with a regulated financial environment, a sound understanding of the regulatory regime, and previous experience as an SMF3
  • A personal commitment to be a visible role model of Link Group's behaviours and values, including the development and embedding of a high-performing organization and culture
  • A proven record of building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with excellent interpersonal skills
  • A confident, natural leader who is motivational, professional, practical by nature, approachable, articulate, and comfortable as a hands-on player with a supportive, coaching, and mentoring style
  • Demonstrable experience managing operations in a digital environment with an understanding of operational best practice and a key focus on client delivery
