Role Overview
The EdEx Education Recruitment team is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant - Unqualified to join our client's Primary School in Waltham Forest. As a key member of the school's support team, you will play a vital role in providing assistance to teachers and students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers in the classroom, assisting with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery.
- Work with students who require additional support, providing individualized attention and guidance.
- Contribute to the development of a safe and respectful school culture, promoting social-emotional learning and well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address student needs, ensuring a cohesive and effective support system.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents. A strong understanding of child development and learning theories is essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
