Job Title: Early Years Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Chilworth Day Nursery and Preschool.

About the Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and implementing engaging activities tailored to each child's needs, promoting their development towards key milestones. You will also develop and maintain strong partnerships with parents and carers, ensuring the welfare, protection, health, and safety of the children in your care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality educational programs for children aged 0-5 years
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress
  • Ensure the nursery environment is safe, healthy, and stimulating, promoting children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in a nursery or early years setting
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children
