Are you a seasoned professional in 2nd and 3rd line Infrastructure Support? Do you possess a diverse range of technical skills with experience in managing hybrid environments that include Windows Servers, M365, Citrix/VMware, and general networking? Informed Recruitment Limited is excited to present a unique opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer to spearhead the support and enhancement of an organization's infrastructure services as it embarks on its digital modernization journey.
Role Purpose
The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the operation, security, and maintenance of infrastructure and network technologies, along with associated implementation and upgrade projects, which include a desktop upgrade to Windows 11. Your duties will encompass:
- Acquainting yourself with the organization's environment.
- Providing a 2nd/3rd line support service.
- Delivering ongoing projects.
- Supporting a hybrid Microsoft 365 and on-premises infrastructure.
- Ensuring the security and integrity of systems.
- Managing network switches and remote access.
- Monitoring backup routines.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven experience as a 2nd/3rd Line Infrastructure Support Specialist.
- Experience in desktop upgrade projects, particularly to Windows 11.
- Administration experience with Microsoft Office 365, including Exchange Online and Azure AD.
- Solid background in providing second/third line support for Microsoft Desktop (10, 11) and Server (2019, 2022) technologies in a hybrid setting.
- Management of LAN/WAN technologies.
- Strong networking capabilities.
- Experience in supporting communication solutions such as telephony, Teams, and mobile device management.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
- Project experience in installing and configuring hardware and software.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and practices, with a good grasp of Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Windows 11 upgrades.
- Knowledge of VMware/Citrix.
- Familiarity with SharePoint.
- Relevant certifications (ITIL, MCP, MCSE, or similar Microsoft accreditation).

You will be adept at building effective relationships with both internal stakeholders and third parties.
