About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Finance Partner to join our team at Undisclosed. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical part in driving business growth and achievement through provision of analytical and commercial support for projects and bids.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnership: Steward, drive and partner with the business to support opportunity, while holding the business to account for commitments.
  • Financial Management: Ensure all business activities are carried out in accordance with, and in the spirit of, local legislative requirements, and enhance and protect our client for now and the future. This will include driving delivery of the financials, including P&L, Capex, billing, and debt management.
  • Contractual Mechanisms: Bring clear understanding of, and application of contractual mechanisms to financials, becoming a trusted advisor to commercial and technical teams.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide timely action-oriented financial reporting relevant to performance of the business unit, including stages of lead to cash.
  • Strategy Development: Support the development and implementation of the strategy for the unit by working with the team to provide insights and key reports, aligned to the FP&A strategy for the CFU/CU.
  • Data Analytics: Use data analytics to identify opportunities to make better decisions, deliver process, systems, or tool changes to improve our data analytics capability.
  • Process Improvement: Continuous improvement of finance processes and systems - anticipate and recognize obstacles in work processes between teams and make suggestions for ongoing productivity improvements.
  • Accounting Principles: Apply accounting principles (and where relevant financial statements), procedures and systems in complex and unique scenarios including contract accounting.

  • Collaborative Partnership: Develop great working relationships with stakeholders, sharing knowledge and collaborating.
  • Inspiring Communication: Create inspiring messages, considering different perspectives, and delivering simple communications.
  • Qualifications: Qualified Accountant [Mandatory], Established Business Partner [Mandatory], Managing P&L and/or Capex [Mandatory].
  • Preferred Qualifications: Interacting on an external customer account [Preferred], Working in a contract accounting environment [Preferred], Experience in driving strategy [Preferred].
