About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Project Engineer to join our team at Network Rail. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in supporting Project Engineers in the discharge of their responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist Project Engineers in the preparation of specifications and design development.
  2. Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with design, standards, and legislation.
  3. Develop and maintain quality systems throughout the lifecycle of projects.
  4. Assist in the monitoring of project construction HSQE.
  5. Maintain a log demonstrating own development and achievements towards meeting the competency requirements to discharge the role of a Project Engineer.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. An engineering qualification in a relevant discipline (GNVQ, ONC, HNC, Degree).
