Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate English Academic Mentor to join our team at KPI Recruiting Ltd. As a Graduate English Academic Mentor, you will play a key role in inspiring passion for English among students and supporting their academic development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead group and 1-1 intervention sessions with GCSE and A-Level students to enhance their understanding and appreciation of English literature and language.
  • Develop and implement engaging resources to simplify complex concepts and promote student engagement.
  • Collaborate with established teachers to design and deliver effective lesson plans and assessments.
  • Provide individualized support to students to help them achieve their academic goals.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity and critical thinking.
Requirements
  • Hold a 2:1 or higher degree in English Literature, English Language, Linguistics, Creative Writing, Comparative Literature, or American Literature.
  • Relevant experience in education or a related field is welcome but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for English literature and language, with a commitment to inspiring students and promoting academic excellence.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £500-£540 per week.
  • A full-time role with a regular schedule, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.
