Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Shop Manager at our Plymouth store. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the shop, including managing stock, handling customer transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales, and customer interactions
  • Supervise and support a team of retail staff to ensure excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and increase customer engagement
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a retail management role, preferably in a charity shop environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
