Logistics People is seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our team at our Cannock depot.

We are working with a leading client in the HGV industry, offering the latest vehicles and a top-range driving experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate an articulated tipper truck
  • Ensure the truck is loaded and unloaded correctly, balancing the load as required
  • Transport a variety of bulk materials, such as aggregates, sand, and gravel
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork
Requirements:
  • Valid HGV 2/C+E Licence
  • Minimum 12 months Tipper driving experience
  • No more than 6 points, no DD/DR Code convictions
  • Current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
  • Understanding of Driver's hours and WTD legislation
  • Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks
