Job Role: Field Service Engineer (Trainee Domestic Appliance Engineer)

Location: North Glasgow

Basic Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 + a fantastic bonus scheme and overtime with earnings exceeding £30,000+

Woodrow Mercer Engineering is seeking a technically minded individual to work for one of our prestigious manufacturers in the White Goods / Domestic Appliance industry in the North Glasgow area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and repair of domestic appliance equipment e.g. washers, dryers, cookers, fridge freezers.
  • Training provided at the company's training school.

  • Up to 33 days holiday, plus bank holidays

Duties: Service and repair of domestic appliance equipment e.g. washers, dryers, cookers, fridge freezers.

Manufacturer training and/or experience on the likes of Beko, Electrolux, Bosch, Whirlpool, LG, Miele, Hoover Candy, Glen Dimplex, Hotpoint or Indesit are of interest.

Refrigeration knowledge, whether it be 1st or 2nd line refrigeration/gas skills including FGAS or City and Guilds Refrigeration are desired but not essential.

Valid domestic gas qualifications, i.e. City and Guilds, are required.

Full UK driving license is required.
