Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Lead Radiographer to oversee the Outpatient and Inpatient Imaging services. The ideal candidate will hold a current HCPC registration and possess a strong background in Diagnostic Radiography.

This position primarily entails the daily management and strategic planning of imaging services, ensuring effective operational leadership. Candidates should have significant experience in the field of Imaging, hold a BSc or DCR qualification, and demonstrate proven organizational and leadership capabilities. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team is essential.

Key Responsibilities

The Lead Radiographer will be responsible for:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the Imaging services.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the radiography team.
  • Ensuring high standards of patient care and service delivery.
  • Participating in the training and development of undergraduate student Radiographers.

Welsh language skills are desirable for this role; however, applications from both Welsh and English speakers are encouraged.
