Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people with mental health difficulties, providing expert care and support to help them achieve their full potential.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and young people to identify their mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based interventions, including individual and group therapy, to help children and young people manage their mental health and develop coping strategies.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and educators, to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Develop and implement training programs for professionals and families to promote mental health awareness and support.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and support for children and young people with mental health difficulties.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children and young people with mental health difficulties.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions and treatment approaches.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
