Purchase Ledger Clerk Job Description

Rotherwood is seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team on a part-time, temporary basis with the possibility of going permanent.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will work as an efficient and effective member of our team, performing all duties and tasks to a high standard in compliance with individual, team, and department objectives.

About the Role:
  • Process daily invoices relating to both imported and domestic stock.
  • Verify and process non-resale invoices.
  • Monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Raising purchase orders.
  • Assisting with the month-end purchase ledger accruals.
  • Responsible for the daily bank reconciliation.
  • Raising and processing weekly and bi-monthly supplier payments.
Key Requirements:
  • Prior end-to-end experience in a similar role is ideal.
  • A healthy work attitude with regards to quality, productivity, and attendance is essential.

Rate of pay: £13.30 per hour

Hours of Work: Part-time (negotiable), ideally working Wed to Fri (24 hours)
